2nd round of a masters for the two guys who were supposed to dethrone the big four. Laughable

Interesting match. I give Grigor a slight edge.

Well, to be fair, Dimi is ranked 4 and Nishi only has a partial year of points under his belt, hence the low ranking and them being matched up in the 2nd round. Both are very good players.

Yes the anticipation was that but to me neither of them was never really close to big four, or at least big three. I personally had big hopes on Grigor for a long time but he for one thing could not cope mentally. Now he is probably better than ever but still far away from big three. The era with Roger, Rafa and Novak will be difficult to match to say the least.

What a point that was. Dimi down...Dimi up. Dimi loses the point anyway.

Don't want to spoil the euphoria for you Nishi fans and I know he made a great match. But... Grigor collapsed mentally once again. Why the h*ll does he become a coward being 4-3 and a break up in sets 2 and 3??? I can't understand it. The only explanation that I can come up with is that he gets nervous and departs from his game plan because of that. With this said Kei played very smart today, pushing Grigor's backhand which didn't work great today. Hopefully Kei won't be injured and continues this way, he is entertaining to watch.
