...I think he will be banned for quite some time ...the umpire looked horrified, cannot happen again....just food for thought...if that happened to any of us on our work place what will be the employers decision

I wish the ATP had and held higher standards for these players. None of this coddling they do. Bigger fines, and definitely bans and suspensions are in order often.

Horrid guy. No place in tennis.

Its bad really the next gen, out of med, titsi and zev, none of them are role models or someone id point my kids to for inspiration.

Zev - massive temper and uncleared abuse issues
Titsi - complete cheat
Med - weird on court antics, negativity and reacting badly with the paying crowd.

Out of the three, med is the least bad role model.

Can only hope sinner and alcatraz turn out to be better for the sport in the grander context

Didn't see the incident, a well deserved disqualification for such a reported tantrum, against a fellow countryman, such a bad example to any youngsters who happened to be watching.

Thank god that disgusting abuser was disqualified, what a psychotic scenes.
As expected once again with another horrible behavior.
The ATP after he hit the chair and almost hit the Umpire is going to ban him? It would be a miracle if the ATP do something.

Zverev's going to get bounced out of Acapulco. He lost his mind and went ballistic after losing his doubles match. Struck the umpire chair four times with his racket. And a flourish of F-bombs.
