Is Jule even playing - i think she should pull out.

In Sydney? - interesting ... that will make for a good test.

So true abt Angie and Hopman Cup.The way she has returned serves of male counterparts has been exceptional.Hopefully she is alright after that blow last night

A-Christel Vogt
Ok draw is on WTA as well now - hot game for Jule - doable but there be a lot of support for Sam. If Jule plays - as I said wouldn't blame her for pulling out after this gracy week.

A-Christel Vogt
Gosh that is a packed field - beside the WCs anyone can beat anyone there.

Vinayak
Angie pretty much carried Zverev the whole match who was pretty down on himself

But sounds like he was honest enough to admit in the interview from what i read - let's hope he picks up today - maybe they should play mix double at AO - just to keep the fun factor up and not get all tight again psychologically :-)

Not sure as i said below packed field - lots will depend on the form of the day - even Lucy on a good day could have a come back - if Kerber doesn't stay strong mentally. Konta was playing very well till her injury so that is an unknown. the wild ones like Kastinka. .. really this is a very hard one to predict.

Jule could have a good chance till the semis - Muguruza is a bit of an unknown after her heat cramps this week - was that bad preparation and sign of low fitness or just not enough attention on drinking etc. - if she has learned her lesson she is def. a contender.

I think Jule might withdraw to be honest, needs to rest up after this tournament

Goerges in a hurry to get to the final!
A-Christel Vogt
Zou can do this Jule, just finish and have a good rest, and maybe skip Sydney
Khan Alihasan
Come on Jules
Dawson Wilson
Jules playing super messy
Dawson Wilson
Finish her Julia!
A-Christel Vogt
Yes! - Jule rules :-) - and Angie is back with confidence as well as the Hopman Cup shows - Great starting point for the AO and Germany :-) - hope they will both play fedcup right after too. If they both stay in shape and healthy we might finally have a chance.
Dawson Wilson
I know the Sydney Draw if anyone wants to know!
Khan Alihasan
Angie ain't playing fed cup match in February that I know
A-Christel Vogt
Is that confirmed Angie and the Fedcup - hadn't heard that and follow German and int. Tennis news normally.
Dawson Wilson
I’m not sure, but I do know that Kerber could play Venus in the second round Christel :(
Dawson Wilson
I also feel like there’s going to be a multitude of upsets- for instance Sevastova is playing Domi in the first round
A-Christel Vogt
What happened there - i saw someone else say "Angie is fine" but no further explanation.
Vinayak
Kokkinakis hit a full blooded forehand straight at Angie who was at the net.It was unintentional of course but it was scary for a moment
A-Christel Vogt
Wow - ok thanks Vinayak for explaining. I only follow the write ups no live coverage in my country as I am not in Germany at the moment.
Vinayak
You must check out the mixed doubles last night Christel.
A-Christel Vogt
I read about it and followed the score line. are the games streamed somewhere? would love to watch the final today.
Dawson Wilson
Christel, who do you think has the best chance of winning Sydney if Kerber doesn’t come through?
A-Christel Vogt
Kerber is certainly back - excellent win over Bencic just now.
