The wta & usta love creating rivalries for Serena but intentionally avoids doing it to Sharapova and other white players. Maria will be 30 years old in 2 years. She's part of the old generation.

I am totally convince there is bias in the draw selection . What's in Petra's half is a joke ,just like in Federer's half . What they don't realize is that if who they want is not tested come semi's or finals, a well tested, hot player will come and jump all over them early and often . If a player is that good then they should be able to go through at least one or two major threats . Serena Williams had keys and murguruza on her way to the aussie crown along with vika Sloan and one or two more at the french

Garbine makes it look easy. She's a big girl who hits hard. Like her confidence. Wish she would learn some finesse though. It'll come with more experience. Her footwork is too heavy.

The wta & usta has done an excellent job at keeping Sharapova far away from Muguruza. Gabine would expose Maria's weakness.
