Federer game is synonymous with fluidity and grace. It's always a joy to watch irrespective of the opponent he faces.

Maybe here can see an upset....nico is playing great tennis.

Rafa time to start playing good. Got a weak draw for once gotta take advantage of it

Vishruth Mategunta
It takes even more confidence to win when one is not playing at his best Shrikanth

I've been watching tennis since 2000.... couldn't have done before because I'm not old enough. One of the biggest fans of Nadal as well, enough to know that he is one of if not THE most passionate players of all time. He first pumps all the time....a bit nit picky to try and remember a match in the past but calling mahut a sub par opponent shows your lack of knowledge...this is a fourth round match of an ATP 1000 event, a pretty big deal if you didn't know
3
Vishruth Mategunta
Why are you comparing him to fed. It's getting old sandeep

Mahut is a hit or miss.. Could be three long games or 6-2/6-1 for Nadal.. We shall see

Go Rafa

Rafa in straight sets..... If he dsnt play a set like which he did in d last match...
2
Rambo Vaidyanathan
Straight sets for rafa here. I cannot see Mahut troubling him at all. The only reason kohlschreiber won a set is due to his incredibly low percentage hitting. Once he came back down to earth Rafa bossed him around. Mahut does not have that kind of "Lukas Rosol" game.

Mahut is a very solid singles player, excellent on grass, also he is number 1 in the world in the doubles ranking and a two time grand slam doubles champion, by the way. Shame on those criticizing him, you obviously don't know much about tennis.

The beast in 3 sets.

Don't think Rafa has the form to beat Federer on a hard court, but I reckon he'll be very dangerous back on clay. Federer looks fav for this tournament

I'm not sure Nadal will get past this match today. Yet alone a final against (possibly) Federer.
1
000cassandra
There are no givens with Nadal anymore. Not even on a clay surface.
1
shrikanthsy
And fist pump against such players and every now and then shows how low his confidence is.
1
000cassandra
Perhaps his humility is a detriment.
1
Vishruth Mategunta
As long as he wins, he's the best judge of himself
1
000cassandra
I said he may not get passed this match today. What's not taking it match by match about that.
1
Jeff West
Even when Djokovic was winning he was playing like shit
1
Jeff West
How many times did he play like shit and win multiple titles
1
Rambo Vaidyanathan
Fist pump against "such players"? Everyone first pumps against everyone, what a load of rubbish. He is low on confidence, everyone knows that but some views here are serious exaggerations
1
Mihir
Lol. Nadal is definitely not as good as he was but should retire if he can't beat clowns like mahut. Should win in straights
1
000cassandra
Nadal over plays and over thinks way too often. And the power he onced possessed is either absent or off the mark.
1
Vishruth Mategunta
It doesn't matter how he wins as long as he wins
