Crazy these two only have a few low rank titles between them and 4 yrs hence for Maria. Serial SFs and Finals. Not big match players so far in their careers.

One of them changes that today with a good performance. Quite possibly this will be a very nervy error strewn final with UEs outnumbering winners.

@sam. If you mean the men finalists are both competing for the first title above 250, then that's fairly reasonable as they are both not even in the top 20, yet have made the final. In the womens side, both coco and Maria are top 10 players and have made sf or better in slams. So it's a bit surprising they have not yet made the push beyond 280 tournaments, given they have had elevated rank for a fair while
