Where is the competition in women tennis now? No where to be found and I can't stand it

Julien R.
I never wrote that she is not dominating

But let's face it, you can dominate while letting nobody breath and offering no chances, or dominate like she does
When she will be on a bad day mentally, or when she will face someone playing with her focus and ability to reset, it will be another situation to face

The truth is that she faces a really poor level of competition, that's sad but that's the truth

Osaka who was just getting back to form? What wta match has been stand out this year? What wta match has made you say 'wow' the same way atp matches do? Lets be honest the matches haven't been anything to write home about and we're 4 months into the season. The quality on tour isnt good

When are people going to realize iga is having the best year of her life due to no competition, ash has retire, Serena isn't playing, pliskova pvitova halep all not at their best anymore. I mean who can stop her
Osaka isn't even playing well anymore, all she does is whine now

Reneliwi ....you really do spout some crap.

2 of the future superstars but I don't see Iga losing this. 1GA will win it all 🇵🇱

Reneliwe Mocke
This is nothing for Iga. Emma lost a set after she baggeled her opponent. Completely beatable
1
KyraATPWTA
Love both. Go IGA 🇵🇱1️⃣☝️
1
Suazo
6:2 6:1 iga or something like that
1
HelenaSroka
Like them both, but IGA
has more potential to be
N 1 for a while..
She is on fire!!
Need a consistent N 1!!

Tennis In Numbers
Ups and downs as in ? She hasn't dropped a set in her last 12 matches. Literally winning every other set by 6-0

Reneliwe Mocke
Bro emma always calling trainer when she is losing
1
Julien R.
Last time she did that it was at Wimb and she left without coming back for her stuff on the court
1
Julien R.
@Ayush do you watch the matches? I ask genuinely because you picture her as a bagelmachine who never face BP, that's not the truth at all, she dominates while offering a huge number of errors/fault, conceding break by herself from time to time
1
Reneliwe Mocke
Yeah it susprises me she baggles people with the number of errors she makes
1
Julien R.
Iga topspin, mental, serve and overall her capacity to return anything with effect is what makes her so dominant but she isn't invincible
She faces players with too many weakness, Ash retiring is a real shame and sad story for the WTA tour
1
Julien R.
I love Iga but I'm not ok with the actual state of the circuit in term of competition, especially on clay and indoor HC, it is getting boring
1
Tennis In Numbers
Yeah Osaka that reached the final. Iga doesn't get to decide who she faces, but whoever she faces, she's been winning pretty comfortably.

Emma has a long way to go if she wants to reach the top

Bryan N Judie Eastwood
Great game from Emma. Showed that Iga is beatable. Get back to the hard courts.

Julien R.
Ash was the only girl on the tour with an ability to apply and generate effects, with consistency and with any conditions, she had a heavier ball than anybody (heavier than most top 30 ATP players) and was capable to do it with any ball coming from anywhere
Now only Iga is decent at that "ATP" (let's be honest nobody else is doing it atm inside the WTA) ability to make the rallies more complicated for the opponent, and overall there's not many high tennis IQ playing lately or they can't be confident with their tennis abilities (or even worse, the weak mental fortitude)

Bryan Funny you say it's crap yet fail to offer a single rebuttal argument. Just empty noise you make, nothing of substance to say

simon_francis
Wow! Emma did well at least in terms of scoreline, considering Igas form and the surface!

Bryan N Judie Eastwood
Iga 4 the win but Emma as in the US open will have no expectation so could still be dangerous. Fingers crossed 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Amazing none of them faced a top 100 player and made the QF....
Tweener
Dangerous match for Iga
Andrei Dragomir
Reneliwe… it’s Stuttgart ffs
Aemilius
Iga ✌️
Reneliwe Mocke
This half of the draw is so lame, Sabalenka vs Anett and Ons vs Badosa were interesting
Reneliwe Mocke
Surprised the first set was no narrow. Emma made so many ue to winners. Iga isn't as threatening here as she normally is
