How is this girl not well in the Top 100 playing like this.

She does what it took Madison years to learn, hit the ball hard with spin & margin, some would say Maddie STILL doesn't do that consistently

I think a lot of people, in retrospect, would agree that Maddie struggles to execute that consistently. I digress, though. Tauson is made of some impressive stuff!

Good to see its now competitive atleast.

She should've done what Clara did under pressure.

Feel as though Maddie doesn’t have the drive when things aren’t working in a match. She does play with good margin when she’s on like in 2019 Cincy, she played with such great control and aggression then.

At this stage in her career she should be doing it all the time, not just in a few tournament over the years.

Your right @Mensa. She should but her big problem is she can’t win matches that she isn’t playing near her best in. If she’s not at her best she can’t win which all the best players can do. Hopefully upcoming aggressive players like Clara end out not falling into the same category.

Ajla has woken up. She’s playing well now.

I think Clara is proving with her title already at such a young age & her play today that she hopefully won't fall into that category.

I don't think Clara is at her best today at all, she's just playing solid, with her knee pretty harshly wrapped
