I don't want to hear anyone complaining about Djokers draw. Hr usually has an easy draw on every tournament. Bye the time you get Djoker he is fresh bc he hasn't played anyone notable. So his draw was fine...his body couldn't hold up. If he won 1st set, he would have pushed himself

KuroSava
But, you always complain about his draw!

Don't cry jokers, iam feeling sad for dJoker, hope he will come back strong after 3 yrs and will lift his 25th GS when he turns @40 yrs
KuroSava
Maybe he will come back when Fed comes to break Joker's records.....who knows! But, at the moment, it's "mission accomplished" and bow when speak about the Greatest Sportsman ever.

What happened to Djokovic?
VillageIdiotDan
I do find it astounding how he is clearly the best player to have graced a tennis court, and with a game that is appealing, yet is still roundly disliked by all but his ardent fans.

Im surprised it doesn't irritate him more as if it were me I'd have a massive complex about it

The hatred says more about the hater. Be passionate about something positive, for your own sake.

Best message is by Zverev. Very classy:

“The very first thing I want to say is please, guys, don’t boo a player when he goes out with injury.

“You gotta understand, Novak Djokovic is somebody that has given the sport absolutely everything for the last 20 years in his life.

He has won this tournament with an abdominal tear, he has won this tournament with a hamstring tear. If he cannot continue a tennis match, it means that he cannot continue a tennis match. Please be respectful and show some love to Novak as well.”

So, no.25 still eludes him & it looks as though he's been put out to pasture 😭

okrilic
I've never once seen you congratulate him on a victory and you ALWAYS disappear from the comments when he wins. But boy, do you show up like clockwork when he loses. You're easily one of the most toxic people on this app, disguised as a fan of tennis with your customary predictions. Nole will win #25 and when he does, you'll be nowhere to be found, as per usual.

KuroSava
Analddin, he has 24, which is most than anyone else ever achieved and keeps almost every possible record on the tour. He can do whatever he wants

Djokovic the player who won the most titles here in Australia once again is booed by the crowd in Rod Laver Arena.

Has Rafael Nadal ever been booed in Chatrier, the player who has won most Roland Garros? NO

Has Roger Federer ever been booed in Centre Court, the player who has won most Wimbledon? NO

Novak Djokovic is Booed in his most important tournament, the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon, US Open, all the Masters 1000, ATP 250, 500, ATP Finals.

That says a lot!

KuroSava
Are you saying that "he will never be loved as Fedals"? Maybe not, but he beat the crap out of them and "That says a lot!"

Well it was a tough task. After that gruelling match against Carlos he knew only way to win this match was in straight sets. That first set today itself was 80 mins. No way could he have survived that and no way had he have beaten sinner in that condition

Hahahah Joker might aswell retire now.

Unexpected early result.
VillageIdiotDan
Well done Zev, no idea how injured Djokovic was during the set but losing it will have been critical in him deciding to retire so fantastic focus on your own game

Well djoko had to beat players ranked 3,2,1 to win aust open, so very tall order !
Has anyone ever beaten 3 top seeds to win a grand slam ?

@Anusha: I have a life and I have my opinion. If you don't like it then be it. I can't help. I don't like Novak and I am free to express my emotions just like how Novak expresses his. Grow up.

So so so so glad this arrogant guy is out. The way he reacted when he won against Carlos was just unacceptable.
10
KuroSava
I'm not sure how Novak "reacted when he won against Carlos" and why that "was just unacceptable" to you, but, by YOUR reaction, I can only imagine the pain and suffering that you went thru for the last 20 years, if this makes you "So so so so glad".
