Clément Gehl est Rédacteur spécialisé tennis pour TennisTemple (TT) depuis novembre 2024. L’histoire est belle puisqu’il a débuté comme lecteur passionné de TT (2015), et s’est progressivement imposé comme une voix crédible et engagée dans l’univers du tennis. Il joue lui-même depuis 2017 (une fois par semaine) et fait de la compétition (50 matchs officiels), par plaisir avant tout et sans pression excessive, avec un classement français de 30/3.

Parcours & liens avec le tennis



Ce lien personnel avec le tennis enrichit sa vision journalistique et lui permet de mieux appréhender les performances des joueuses et joueurs pro. Un lien renforcé par une présence régulière au bord des courts sur les plus grands tournois (Roland-Garros, Masters 1000 de Paris, ATP 250 de Metz). Il apprécie particulièrement l’ambiance plus intimiste des qualifications de Roland-Garros auxquelles il assiste tous les ans, ce qui lui a permis de tisser des liens avec des joueurs pros. Il a par exemple réalisé une interview exclusive de l’Australien John Millman (ancien 33e joueur mondial) en janvier 2025.

Un regard avisé et atypique sur l’écosystème du tennis



Clément est titulaire d’un Master 2 en commerce et stratégie à l’international (2022) et d’une Licence en langues étrangères appliquées (anglais, allemand) obtenue en 2020. Ces deux diplômes lui confèrent non seulement une excellente qualité de rédaction mais aussi un regard éclairé et atypique sur tout l’aspect business du tennis professionnel. Des compétences qui, alliées à son expertise tennistique, lui permettent d’avoir une analyse plus objective de l’actualité et de la retranscrire parfaitement à ses lecteurs.

Expérience & expertise



Clément suit avec assiduité, depuis plus de 10 ans (2012), les circuits ATP et WTA et les événements majeurs du calendrier que sont les Grands Chelems, les Masters et WTA 1000, les ATP et WTA Finals, la Coupe Davis ou la Billie Jean King Cup. Cependant, il ne s’intéresse pas seulement aux stars du Top 100, mais aussi aux joueuses et joueurs au-delà du Top 500. Il est convaincu que c’est là que résident des récits inspirants, des luttes intimes et des trajectoires humaines oubliées qui méritent d’être mis en avant.
