Guillaume Nonque est Rédacteur en Chef et Directeur de la publication de TennisTemple (TT) depuis 2005, passionné de tennis depuis l’enfance avec plus de 20 ans d’expérience active.


Parcours & liens avec le tennis



Il a grandi dans les années 1990, marqué par les exploits de l’équipe de France en Coupe Davis, par les étés passés devant Roland‑Garros, Wimbledon et l’US Open, et par la mythique rivalité Sampras‑Agassi (avec un petit faible pour Pete Sampras). Chaque mois, il attendait avec impatience le dernier numéro de Tennis Magazine, un magazine référence dont la lecture a fait naître en lui la vocation du journalisme tennistique — un média avec lequel il collaborera lui‑même de 2006 à 2011 dans le cadre d’un partenariat inter‑médias reconnu (alimentation en actualités du site web de Tennis Magazine) qui durera plus de 5 ans.


Expérience & connaissance du tennis



Joueur de tennis depuis l’âge de 8 ans (1993), Guillaume a joué en compétition à un très bon niveau en club (2ᵉ série française, +15), disputant plus de 300 matchs officiels. Cette longue pratique lui donne une base approfondie de [b]connaissances techniques, tactiques, physiques et mentales. Il comprend les défis liés à la préparation, la gestion des blessures, la nutrition, la pression en match — aussi bien sur des courts isolés que face à un public (finales de tournois), parfois même un public acquis à la cause de l’adversaire (rencontres par équipe jusqu’en Prénationale).

Par ailleurs, sa formation d’arbitre auprès de la FFT, avec des expériences comme arbitre de chaise et arbitre de ligne, lui apporte un atout rare dans le journalisme tennistique ainsi qu’une perspective unique sur les règles et l’arbitrage.


Expertise journalistique et projets récents



Depuis 2005, Guillaume couvre l’actualité des circuits ATP et WTA, des Grands Chelems aux Masters 1000 / WTA 1000, en passant par les Challenger, WTA 125, ITF et Futures. En plus de 20 ans, ses articles ont été lus au total par des centaines de milliers de lecteurs. Il aime autant analyser les sommets tennistiques atteints par les stars du jeu, que les trajectoires émergentes des futurs talents (Next Gen) ou les tentatives de retour d’anciens joueurs de premier plan. Sa spécialité : rendre compte du tennis dans toute sa profondeur — non seulement les résultats, mais aussi les histoires, les tactiques, la condition physique, le contexte psychologique.

Par exemple, en 2025, il est en préparation d’un dossier complet en plusieurs parties sur l’approche mentale du tennis pro. Autant sur le court que dans la gestion d’une saison et d’une carrière. Avec le but de mettre en lumière l’importance cruciale de l’aspect psychologique dans le tennis de haut niveau, d’apporter de l’objectivité sur la gestion qui en est faite actuellement, et d’offrir une source d’inspiration aux joueuses et joueurs amateurs.

Sa ligne éditoriale est fondée sur l’objectivité, l’impartialité et une rigueur journalistique constante. Il accorde une importance extrême à la fiabilité des sources, à la [b]vérification des faits, puis à la réactivité. Il aime particulièrement les analyses, les dossiers, les enquêtes et les reportages, des formats qui lui permettent de donner du contexte, de décrypter les propos des joueuses/joueurs, de fournir des données vérifiées, et de développer des arguments pour offrir à ses lecteurs l’opportunité de gagner en recul et en compréhension.

Formé également en économie, marketing et nouvelles technologies (Master 2 MTIC, 2008‑2009, CY Cergy Paris Université/ESIEE-IT), Guillaume possède donc l’expertise pour aborder le tennis non seulement sous l’angle sportif, mais aussi en termes d’enjeux stratégiques, d’image, de financement et d’innovation technologique. Grâce à ses études (bac S, bac +5) et à ses voyages, il parle couramment français et anglais, et a de bonnes notions en espagnol, allemand et grec, ce qui lui facilite grandement la tâche lorsqu’il s’agit d’évoluer dans l’univers très international du tennis professionnel.

En tant que Rédacteur en Chef, Guillaume veille à transmettre cette exigence et cette passion pour le journalisme de qualité à toute l’équipe rédactionnelle de TennisTemple : Adrien Guyot, Arthur Millot, Clément Gehl, Jules Hypolite. Ensemble, ils privilégient des articles complets, tâchant toujours d’apporter un angle original et de l’analyse, même lorsqu’il s’agit de traiter de l’actualité chaude, permettant ainsi aux lectrices et lecteurs de mieux comprendre le tennis, au‑delà de l’immédiateté des résultats, pour une expérience de lecture enrichie et durable.

Il veille aussi à ce que la Rédaction et les rédacteurs TennisTemple fonctionnent en lien étroit avec le Community Manager, Félix Gauderie, qui réalise notamment un important travail de veille sur les réseaux sociaux. Ce dernier participe ainsi à garantir la cohérence éditoriale, la pertinence, la fiabilité et la réactivité des articles publiés par la Rédaction, tout en publiant lui-même des contenu de qualité à destination de la communauté, directement sur TennisTemple (La Chaîne TT) ou en dehors (Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram).

Enfin, Guillaume travaille aussi en contact permanent avec le Directeur technique (Thomas Nonque), afin de toujours assurer l’expérience la plus optimale possible aux lecteurs et utilisateurs en général de TennisTemple. Un fonctionnement qui favorise une grande réactivité et une importante capacité d’innovation.
